Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, the winter clothing is down off the racks and in the trailer. We are busy working on getting summer clothing on the racks. The 0 – 6 sizes are done! Ann is always one step ahead of us. Doyle got a plexiglass shield installed this week as a cough and sneeze barrier.
Just a reminder that we continue to be closed until health authorities give the green light that it’s ok to open. Please call if you have real need for clothing of any kind… 580 210 0310
LATEST NEWS ON CLOSING……. We had the crazy idea to open this coming week, but after the city offices, the bank lobby, the doctor appointments and Etc. are being more careful, we decided to continue the shutdown.
We had some nice moisture this month and if you called spots, but after all we are in winter in Oklahoma. I am sure there is more of the wet stuff to come before we are all done, but as a farming community that is always welcomed.
Was waiting for any comments about the new food pro- gram waiting room plan. I was surprised at how many people actually came early to get their name on the sign-up sheet. It was cold and everyone appreciated being able to be inside instead of waiting outside. I did not get any feedback from the actual food program people, so I assume it went well doing it that way.
me to keep up a schedule without wavering. As you know I have missed quite a few weeks not sending in the news. Then that becomes a habit of not doing it. I apologize and will do my best to get back in the loop. We have been blessed to have several new volunteers come in each week, and we seem to be keeping up with getting things out on the shelves for you. Thank you both to our regular volunteers and our new volunteers. Without you we could not stay open.
Wow, can’t believe how much was happening toward the end of the year. Just now getting a breather.
The store is doing so well, and we have a few more volunteers, plus we have had a couple of Community workers.
