The South Western Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) believes it is important that caregivers know they are not alone in their struggle to help their loved ones. SWOSU Students Named to Fall Honor Roll

Honor rolls at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and Sayre have been announced for the 2019 fall semester. An undergraduate student earning all A’s in 12 or more hours during a semester qualifies for the President’s Honor Roll. There were 670 students named to the President’s Honor Roll during the fall semester.

SWOSU Spotlight: Taber Beer

The following story is the latest in a spotlight series of SWOSU student-athletes from the Weatherford Daily News. This week’s SWOSU Athlete Spotlight of the Week features SWOSU basketball player Taber Beer.

The 20-year-old guard is a junior from Hammon. She went to Hammon High School and played varsity basketball at Hammon. “I have played basketball for as long as I can remember,” Beer said. “The first league I played in was a church league in Sapulpa.” Beer said her biggest accomplishments in high school was being selected to the OCA and OGBCA All-State teams and making three State Tournament appearances.
