April 19, 1922 was a perfect day; say published accounts and thousands of people from Roger Mills surrounding countries gathered in Cheyenne for the reunion, which was the biggest reunion ever held in the Cheyenne and Arapaho country at that time. The Queen, Archie Anderson, led a parade of old soldiers, the American Legion Old Timers and floats. This reunion, also held in the ballpark, where an arbor had been constructed for the program.
