The majority of the adults who attended the 1912 reunion of Old Timers in Cheyenne were those who had made the Run twenty years before on April 19, 1892. One who met the age requirement to make the run might not be more than 41 years of age when the first reunion was held. The picnic was held on what was then a ball park west of Cheyenne. Cheyenne had a band which furnished a concert in the forenoon. After the basket dinner, addresses were made on such subjects as Early Days in Cheyenne and Early Days in Roger Mills…
