Arts Society Announces Scholarship & Writing Contest

The Rivers Edge Arts Society (REAS), a nonprofit arts organization seeking to promote the arts in western Oklahoma and the eastern Texas Panhandle, has announced its plans to once again offer a $500 scholarship to an area high school senior who has shown outstanding ability and performance in the fine arts, including instrumental, choral, visual or performing arts. The applicant must be enrolling in an accredited academic or technological institution for the 2021 fall semester but is not required to be majoring in art.
