Mrs. Marci Kitchens & Ashton Cockrell On January 11th, 2020, Ashton Cockrell participated in the Shortgrass Honor Band in Elk City. This was a band made up of approximately 100 band students from all around western Oklahoma. Students were selected by audition in December of 2019. This was Ashton’s third year to participate in the band. She had the amazing privilege of having world famous composer Brian Balmages as the conductor of her band!
