Barbara Ann Martin, 81, of Perryton, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., March 25, 2022 at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.
Barbara was born on August 14, 1940 in Sayre, Ok to Elmer “Pete” and Dorothy (Plummer) Flenner.
She was raised on a farm south of Cheyenne, Ok. She graduated from Berlin School in Oklahoma in 1958. She was a great cook but wouldn’t admit it. She loved her friends, cats and her peaceful home life. She retired from Motor Parts after 31 years of service. Her wish was to be buried barefoot to walk on the streets of gold.
Barbara is survived by one son, Marty Martin and a brother, Jimmie and Sandee Flenner of Oklahoma City, Ok.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Dorothy Flenner; husband, Ronnie Martin; son, Tim Martin and in-laws Lloyd and Margie Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Mutt Hutt Rescue, 207 S James, Spearman, Tx 79081.
