Brently Cunningham 1960 ~ 2023

Brently Cunningham 63, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma was born June 15, 1960 at Vincenza, Italy to Basil and Ola May (Reed) Cunningham. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Saint Anthony’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Brently was born where his father, Basil was stationed in the Army. The family moved back to the United States when he was two years old. They moved around to different places before making their home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Brently attended Cheyenne Schools and graduated with the class of 1978.
He married Lucy Mc-Clellan on May 26, 1978 and to this union three boys were born. When Brently was seventeen he went to work on a drilling rig and spent most of his life working in the oilfield industry, he loved it! His other passion was playing pool and he played it very well. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Private family memorial services will be conducted at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his wife, Lucy Cunningham of the Cheyenne, Oklahoma home; three sons, Brandon Basil Cunningham, Brett and Cheyenne of Strong City, Oklahoma, Ryan Cunningham of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Kyle, Robert, Jessie, Brandon, Breanna of the Cheyenne, Oklahoma home, Liam, Aria, Medow, Bascom, and Seager all of Oklahoma; one sister, Sandra Amore of Elk City, Oklahoma; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Brently is preceded in death by his father, Basil Cunningham; his mother, Ola May Cunningham; and one brother, Brian Cunningham.
