Charlotte lee Fuentez 1940 ~ 2022


Charlotte Lee Fuentez was born March 18th, 1940 in Lucien, Oklahoma to Ethel Lavina (Lau) and John Frances Crews. She passed away Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 19 days.

Charlotte grew up in the Perry, Oklahoma area where she attended school. She met and married a gentleman by the name of Roger Bocox. Together they moved to Perryton, Texas where they raised their 5 children, Linda, Bobby, Roger, Pattie and Jon. After her divorce she moved to Chickasha where she was a homemaker and cared for her children. She was later married to Odie Collins and to this union two children were born, Darla and Toby. Charlotte later moved to Lindsay, Oklahoma where she married Wayne Doyal and then back to Perry, Oklahoma. When her marriage dissolved with Wayne, she was later married Mark Morgan and they had one child, Mark Dusty. Charlotte briefly moved to Cheyenne before returning to the Stillwater, Oklahoma area in 2014. Shortly thereafter she met and was married to Sonny Fuentez and they made their home in Stillwater. Throughout her life she enjoyed working with stained glass, knitting, painting and working with her hands. She also enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles and spending time with her family and friends. She preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Roger Delsign and Jon Smith; 1 brother, John and 2 sisters, Joann and Shirley.

Charlotte is survived by 6 children, Linda Smith and husband, Terry, Cheyenne, OK, Bobby Bocox and wife, Alesa, Perry, OK, Pattie Brunet, Valley View, Texas, Darla Sprague and husband, Danny, Cheyenne, OK, Toby Doyle and wife, Tonya, Perkins, OK and Mark Dusty Morgan and fiance’, Heather, Cheyenne, OK; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is planning a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.
