H.L. Harris, Cashier for the First National Bank of this city, received a very serious wound in the right arm when an automatic shotgun was accidentally discharged. Mr. Harris and Mr. R.N. Higgins, Jr, vice president of the bank were hunting last Sunday afternoon and near the farmhouse of John Moehler near Hamburg, the accident happened. Mr. Harris had just shot some birds and had handed Higgins his shotgun, who set it between them with the muzzle pointed upward.
