During the past week a deal has been consummated hereby the First National Bank of Cheyenne becomes a Thurmond Bank having been purchased by A.L. and I.C. Thurmond. Mr. Jackson is no longer associated with the bank, he will now devote all of his time to his bank at Ada. A charter was issued last Tuesday for the First State Bank of Cheyenne which bank will take over the asset of the First National of which A.L. Thurmond will be president, I.C.
