The basketball tournament which was held in Strong City last Saturday was very largely attended and was enjoyed by all. The Herring boys won the championship over Hammon, while the Hammon girls won the championship over Sweetwater. This is the second year Herring has won the championship of the county.The preliminary hearing of Fate Dodson was held in this city last Friday afternoon for the killing of Clarence Trammell.
