Jim Lomax and E.L. Claypool were arraigned in District Court Thursday on a charge of stealing turkeys and pelts, when they entered a plea of guilty and were sentenced to seventeen months at Granite. Claypool and Lomaz were arrested in Hammon by Undersheriff Trammell after they had sold the turkeys and hides to a produce dealer at Clinton.During the last week the Cheyenne Star has moved into its new home on Broadway.
