The annual Upper Washita Conservation District Pasture, Range and Land Judging Contest was held April 1 at Hammon. Five teams competed in the contest. Winners in the FFA division were: Land Judging: Clinton 1st, Hammon 2nd, Cheyenne 3rd Pasture-Range Judging: Hammon 1st, Clinton 2nd, Cheyenne 3rd Winners in the 4-H Division were: Land Judging: Roger Mills County 1st, Hammon 2nd Pasture-Range Judging: Roger Mills County 1st, Hammon 2nd High Individual in the 4-H Pasture-Range Judging Contest wee Benita Snell, 1st and Nickey Smith, 2nd.
