Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Jerry Cannon recently caught two big fish in a local lake. One weighed 2.5 pounds and the other weighed 5 pounds. Jerry Dean was coming down a hill with a load of cattle when the brakes went out on his truck. This was a dead-end road with a sharp curve to be turned. The truck went off of a hill and overturned, resulting in cuts and bruises to the driver. Jerry is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Pete Dean. The number of animals exhibited in the 1970 Jr. Livestock Show crowded the available show space in the Field House…
