Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Nelda Tucker, a Roger Mills County 4-H’er from Sayre, earned a $50 bond for her safety project at the recent 4-H Record Book Judging at Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Tucker, 18, received the bond from Folger Coffee Company. Rex and Sylvia Sadler have purchased the Laundry next to Calvert Cleaners. Sylvia states that they will continue to give the people courteous service. They will deliver, do ironing and mending. They will serve you from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. A good-sized group of 4-H and FFA members and parents spent Sunday afternoon grooming dairy cattle in preparation for the Harvest Festival.…
