At the Tulsa State Fair the Cheyenne FFA brought home three ribbons. In the State Tractor Driving Contest, Steve Lippencott placed 17th out o 56 other tractor drivers. In the Swine division, Randy Smith exhibited the 13th placed middleweight Duroc barrow out of a class of 72; Bruce Barber showed the 13th place middle-weight Poland China Barrow out of a class of 26; and Jack Cordell exhibited a middleweight Berkshire barrow. Blaine Barber exhibited a heavyweight Hampshire wether, and Bill Merrick exhibited a heavy-light Herford steer which placed 33rd out of a class of 60. Elija Thomas Gamble, age 70…
