W.R. Krows has been named City Treasurer succeeding the late W.L. Chalfant. Mr. Krows assumed duties of this office October 20th. Mr. Krows is a former member of the Town Board and familiar with the affairs of the city. The twelve o’clock curfew will be in effect for Halloween night. The fire whistle will sound at 12 midnight, which will mean the party is over.
