Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Flash floods accompanied by hail and winds in some areas hit Roger Mills County about 5 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Cheyenne had less than an inch but west of town had two inches in a very short time. The flash flood did great damage to crops, and in some instances destroying cotton. Rain, which has occurred practically every day in July, remains in the forecast. Mrs. Tom Bradley had he honor of receiving the Yard of the Week.
