Seismograph equipment was parked on the main street of Cheyenne Monday preparing for the day’s work in the western part of Roger Mills County. Oil development continues at a steady pace. Mrs. Magna Williamson, an employee of the Hammon Post Office for 19 years, has announced her retirement, effective June 12, 1970. A Roger Mills County tract involving 236.88 acres attracted top per-acre bid at the state land office oil and gas lease sale Monday, May 25. J.D.
