Mrs. Juanita Hunt, acting administrator of the Roger Mills County Welfare Office announces her retirement, effective August 1, 1970. June 10, 1970 marks 36 years of public service for Juanita. John E. Echenberger has filled the vacancy left by Mrs. Hunt. The first load of wheat brought to the Cheyenne Mill and Elevator was brought by Louis Sprowls whose farm is east of Cheyenne. The Santa Fe Railway is furnishing plenty of cars for transporting the 1970 wheat to market, according to Wesley Ninman, Cheyenne Mill and Elevator owner.
