Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Three 4-H Club youth of Roger Mills County attended Cotton Camp at Quartz Mountain Park last week. They were Bobbie Hooper, Roy LeGrand and Mickie Smith, all of Reydon. They were accompanied by Herman Seymour, County Extension Agent. Mrs. Laurabell Lemon has the honor of winning the “Yard of the Week” marker for the week of July 27-August 3. The annual Oklahoma Youth Range Camp will be held in Cheyenne the first week in August. The Camp is sponsored by the Kansas-Oklahoma Division of the National Range Society and the Supervisors of the Upper Washita Soil and Water Conservation District.…
