Oklahoma’s 1970 Junior Wheat King is from Roger Mills County. Nicky Smith, the 14-year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Albert Smith of Durham, was the double crown winner of the statewide wheat show held in Enid recently. Smith’s entry was judged superior to all 4-H entries, and then was judged to excel all other samples submitted in the junior division.The wheat was grown on the Smith farm located west of Durham.
