Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Two county 4-H members have returned from the American Royal 4-H Conference in Kansas City where they along with 150 other 4-H’ers from Oklahoma joined Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. Dawn Hartman, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Bruce Harman, and Gary Keahey, son of Mr. & Mrs. Vernon Keahey, were delegates from Roger Mills County. Roy LeGrand was awarded a $50 bond from Gary Bell, District Manager for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after he was named a winner in the area 4-H Personality Improvement Contest. Mrs. W.N. Anderson celebrated her 90th birthday October 14th with a birthday party and many friends…
