Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Hammon High School boys basketball team won first place in the District Tournament and the Leedey girls won first place. Second place winners were Butler boys and Reydon girls. The Cheyenne High School boys placed second in their division and will be headed to the Regional Tournament. Rick Wilson, Charles Gilliland, Mark Dodson and Gene Fults entertained residents of the Convalescent Hospital at a Valentine’s Party hosted by the Platonic Club. Fred Peterson, a junior at Cheyenne High School, is serving as a page in the Oklahoma Legislature. Fred is a page in the Senate to which he was named…
