The Blackkettle Roundup Club elected the following officers for 1971. Ervie Porter, president; Roy Carter, vice president; Naomi Gates, secretary-treasurer; Nancy Bottom, reporter, Fred Cobb and Jack Barton, parade marshalls; Hack Webb, Billy Chalfant, Ron Hubbard, Jim Nelson, Bob Barton and Clyde Bottom, Board of Directors. Denise Hubbard was elected Queen. Mel Danner has been named Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce for Cheyenne. Monte Clark of Hammon was inducted into the Armed Forces March 15, 1971.
