Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Fifty-one Cheyenne High School students returned from the District Music Contest at Weatherford, March 19, with happy hearts, after having won a superior rating on their mixed chorus number, Beethoven’s “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,” making them eligible to participate in the State Music Contest. Much credit is due a very superior accompanist, Jill Jarvis, a 1971 senior, who has contributed greatly to the music department throughout her entire school life.
