Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

The new city board of Cheyenne are Lavon Pankey, Jerry Calvert and Joe Whitson. Glen Bradley resigned from the board when he accepted a job in Oklahoma City. Joe Whitson was appointed to fill the vacancy. These men serve our community without compensation, spending their time and efforts to improve the town. Hugh Tunnel brought in a bass that measured 23.5 inches. Each Spring the local fishermen get out their fishing tackle to see if they can break the record of the past year. Augusta I.
