Recreation use at the three Forest Service lakes is at full swing. Skipout caught water during the recent rains, and use has been heavier since. Skipout and Spring Creek Lakes were purposely lowered last winter in order to maintain the dam structures. Lots of activity at Dead Indian Lake as well. The cotton gin in Cheyenne will be dormant this year, as the result of a protest against its being dismantled at hearings before the State Corporation Commission.
