Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Work started this week on a $62,500 building in Cheyenne by Dobson Telephone Company. The new building will house central office equipment, central testing equipment, storage space and provide additional commercial office space. The purpose of the expansion is to better serve their more than 1200 customers in Roger Mills County. Officers of Dobson Telephone Company are E.R. Dobson and Ruby E. Dobson, both of Perkins, Oklahoma, R.L. Dobson and Patricia Moorman of Cheyenne. Donald A. Moorman, Cheyenne, is Plant Superintendent. Construction has also started on a new motel in Cheyenne.
