Saturday evening, November 27, the Dale Wesner family developed electrical trouble at their home. In the process of investigating the problem a fire was discovered at the Baptist Church across the alley. The fire department was called at 7:45PM. Firemen were able to extinguish the fire and retire the fire trucks at 1AM. Several of the fireman stayed with the building until morning. The fire, smoke and water damage are expected to exceed $25,000. It is assumed the fire started at the extra-large hot water heater. Church services will be held at the American Legion building until damages are repaired.…
