Cheyenne 50 Years Ago

Friday, December 24th was the biggest day of the year for Cheyenne. The streets were thronged with people throughout the day and the merchants did capacity business. More treats were given away that had been given in a number of years. The treats for the children, Santa’s visit, the rides in a covered wagon for the kiddies and the $5 bills given away seemed to be greatly appreciated.
