Cheyenne Bears

The Oklahoma Geological Foundation recently donated a collection of museum quality rocks, minerals, and fossils to Cheyenne School. This collection will be used to enhance earth science education. Representatives from the Oklahoma Geological Foundation gave a presentation to 5th, 7th, and 8th grade students over the collection. Each of the students present was given their own Madagascar Celestite mineral and each science teacher was given a larger sample of their choice. The 7th grade class has already used the collection for mentoring. We are very excited to continue to work the collection into our curriculum in the future. Pictured are…
