Cheyenne Junior Advances to Northfork Regional Contest

Mrs. Connie Ferrero, Communications Specialist for Northfork Electric, announced December 17 that Caliby Perez, a junior at Cheyenne High School, has advanced through the district level and will represent Cheyenne High School at the regional competition. Four students are chosen locally through an essay contest, and those four students’ essays are submitted for district competition against area schools who also submit their top four essays. Cailby has earned a spot in the final four competition and will represent Cheyenne as he competes against three other area students for the Youth Tour Washington, D.C., all-inclusive paid trip.
