Cheyenne School Hires New Girls Basketball Coach

Cheyenne Superintendent, Robert Trammell, is pleased to announce Leisha Carlson as the new Lady Bears Head Girls Basketball Coach. The position became available after the retirement and resignation of Coach Brad Thrash.Coach Carlson is a 2000 graduate of Cheyenne High School where she received All-State honors in basketball and softball. She was fortunate to play college basketball at Western Oklahoma State College and Northern Oklahoma College- Enid. Leisha received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Elementary Education with special endorsements in Intermediate Mathematics and Early Childhood.
