Cheyenne School Names Top High School Students

Cheyenne High School Principal Mrs. Whitney Moore has announced the top students for the Class of 2021. Cailby Perez and Kady Szabo have been named Co-Valedictorians and Hayley Whiteneck is the Salutatorian.
Cailby is the son of Andrew and Andi Ebersole.
Cailby has three siblings Colby, Chase, and Amy. Cailby is the Captain of the high school academic team and the President of the National Honor Society. Cailby plans on attending OCCC and becoming a defense attorney.
Kady Szabo is the daughter of Nick Szabo and Karen Bledsoe and the sister to Nicholas Szabo and Kiera Darnell. Kady is active in BPA, PLC, One/Act, and is the drum major for the Cheyenne High School Bear band. Although Kady is undecided on which college to attend, she does want to major in psychology wherever she goes. Kady is also a talented writer and hopes to further writing experience while in college. Kady has received honors in areas such as band with a “1” on multiple solo and ensemble pieces and in Speech by advancing to the state level in 2019 and 2020.
Hayley is the daughter of Angie and Phillip Thomas and Nathan Whiteneck and younger sister of Hunter Whiteneck. Hayley has played basketball and ran track and cross country throughout high school.
She is the Business Professionals of America and the Principal’s Leadership Council president as well as the National Honor Society secretary. Hayley is a three time Cross Country All- Stater and Senior All-Star member. She passed the AP Computer Science test and will also have completed 21 hours of college classes. Hayley plans to attend either Northwestern Oklahoma State University and study to be a Registered Nurse or Southwestern Oklahoma State University for Physical Therapist Assistant training.
