Cheyenne Utility Authority receives $739,703 Water System Funding from OWRB

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Cheyenne Utility Authority (Authority) received approval for $739,703 in funding Thursday from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) to improve the Authority’s water infrastructure. Construction of upgrades and improvements to the water system will be financed by a 100% principal forgiveness loan through the Oklahoma Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The Authority’s existing water treatment plant filters are leaking and have reached their useful life. These proceeds will be used to replace the plant filters, reducing potential contamination.
