Christmas in July Celebrates 30-Years

The Foss Lake Christmas in July Festival was started 30 years ago when some residents at Foss Lake got together and decided they wanted to honor the men and women who had been involved in Desert Storm. They felt like these Veterans had never had the kind of recognition that they deserved. The three men who began the festival were L. C. Murphy, Carman Michaels and Bill Farmer.
