City of Cheyenne Receives Grant for Mignon Laird Airport

The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a grant in the amount of $302,000.00 to the City of Cheyenne for the Rehabilitation of the Mignon Laird Municipal Airport. The grant will provide federal funding to rehabilitate 4,022 feet of runway 18/36 to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris. Rehabilitate 1,000 square yards of the existing apron pavement to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris.
