Clarence Clifford Evans Jr. 1931 ~ 2022

Clarence Clifford Evans, Jr. passed from this life June 19, 2022 in El Reno, OK. at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 17 days. He was born to Clarence and Josephine (Pumphry) Evans on May 2, 1931 in Leedey, OK. and grew up in the Leedey community. He attended the first grade through twelfth grade at Leedey Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1951.

In 1952 Jr. was inducted into the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He was a Purple Heart recipient and was honorably discharged in 1954.

After serving in the Military Jr. married Martha Lou Harrel and they made their home in Oklahoma City, OK. and were blessed with three children, James Keith, Donna Lou and Michael Wayne. In 1961 Bethany, OK. became home for the next fifty-seven years. In 2018 the Victorian Estates Assisted Living became Jr.’s new home.

He was an auctioneer by trade and the owner of Northwest Auction and the Bargain Store in Oklahoma City. His favorite hobby was going to garage sales. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the fellowship of being a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Josephine Evans, his beloved wife, Martha Lou and his infant son Michael Wayne. Two sisters, Mildred Newcomer and Jimi Switzer and other loved ones.

His memory will be cherished by his son James Keith Evans and his wife Kandi of Cleveland, OH and his daughter Donna Petree and her husband Harold of El Reno, OK., four grandchildren, seven great grands, one niece, other relatives and friends.
