Donna Sue Green 1962 ~ 2023

Donna Sue Green was born March 2nd, 1962 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Dorthy Faye (White) and Clyde Murl Green. She passed away in Elk City, Oklahoma on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Donna grew up in Cheyenne where she attended school. After school, she remained in the Cheyenne community where she began her family with the birth of two of her children in 1982 and 1983. Donna later furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she completed her associates degree in business.
She found employment with the Department of Corrections in Fort Supply and Enid, Oklahoma where she worked as an accountant. It was during this time that she added to her family in 1992 with the birth of her daughter. In 2002 she returned to the Cheyenne area where she was the primary caregiver to her parents. In May of 2020 she rekindled her relationship with a former classmate, Wes Springer and throughout the last few years their love for one another grew and flourished. Donna enjoyed sewing, gardening, collecting and polishing rocks, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Donna is survived by her love, Wes Springer, of the home; 3 children, Kevin Eike and wife, Shelby, Elk City, OK, Jeff Eike and wife, Michell, Oklahoma City, OK, and Darrilyn Schantz and husband, Tanner, Clarksville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Libbie, Isaac, J.D., Emma, and Theodore; 3 siblings, Wayne, Debbie, and Betty and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Berlin Cemetery under the direction of Affordable Cremation West of Elk City.
