Draggin’ Main in Cheyenne, Saturday, Oct. 15th

Draggin’ Main is as uniquely American, as Baseball and Apple pie. Dragging main is a social gathering, born in the days long before social media, dragging main occurred when folks met face to face, rather than online. Teenagers would “go to town” to show off their “Ride”, or new music, or anything that was perceived as “Cool”. They drove over the same roads repeatedly, laughing, talking, honking, and listening to the radio, 8-track, cassette, or CD. This social ritual lasted over half a century.
