Draggin’ Main is as uniquely American, as Baseball and Apple pie. Dragging main is a social gathering. Born in the days long before social media, dragging main occurred when folks met face to face, rather than online. Teenagers would “go to town” to show off their new car, or new music, or “New” anything. People talked to one another.
