We sure did appreciate that three inches of rain on Wednesday morning. The grass in my yard is green and needs to be mowed before the weeds take over. The Quilting Bees had a big day on Thursday. We quilted for Barbara Hawkins. It was a bug jar quilt she had embroidered for one of her grandsons and set together with primary color batiks. Of course it was perfectly pieced as all her work is known for. The Bees finished it all but a few blocks in the middle but she took it out to finish it at home. We…
