The Durham community was shocked by the tragic death of Max Montgomery on Friday. He failed to make the curve where the original Mangold homestead stood between his house and his barn. We send our condolences to Janna. Max had requested many times there be no services, so his wishes have been honored. I attended the service for Tom Barber at Pie Flat on Saturday morning.
