Landy Brewer, August 16, 2023 — A popular Ackley Park attraction is closed till further notice. Due to mechanical problems, the Centennial Carousel is out of commission until a repairman can fix it. “There’s only a handful of people nationally who work on carousels, and we’re at the mercy of one man’s availability,” said City Manager Tom Ivester.
