A fire-ash-nado spins up. Roger Mills County Emergency Management reported that all eight Roger Mills County Fire Departments, several county graders and a county tanker responded to the large grass fire Saturday southwest of Cheyenne. The fire started on the south side of water well road, jumped the road and made it on to Thurmond Ranch. Firefighters worked hard, despite the heat, and got the fire out.
