Fire Crews Busy Monday

Roger Mills County Volunteer Fire Departments were busy on Monday, May 9. According to Roger Mills Emergency Management, Monday afternoon the Crawford and Strong City Departments were requested by Leedey to assist with a fire near the Rhea Cemetery. Berlin was paged to a fire on Highway 6, and before they could get there another fire broke out on Highway 283 north of Grimes Road. The Grimes fire became large in a short amount of time.
