Hammon Teacher Chosen as State VFW High School Teacher of the Year

Brenda Archer, a teacher at Hammon School, was notified in January that she had won the State VFW High School Teacher of the Year and will now represent the State of Oklahoma in the Smart/Maher VFW National Citizenship Education Teacher Award Contest.Miss Archer was selected to represent Altus VFW Post 4876 where she won the Post 4876 Award and was entered into the State Competition.Archer was selected from numerous entries from VFW Posts across the state.
