Hickey Honored with Quilt of Valor

Charles Hickey of Reydon was recently honored with a Quilt of Valor by the Star-Spangled Quilters of Weatherford for his service during the Vietnam War. The Roger Mills County Chapter of DAR requested that Charles should receive the quilt and arranged the special presentation at the RMC Courthouse last week. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. (Photo provided)
